I don't think that one can get over about 26400 bps with low Bit Error
Rates over a combined copper length of 8 km - how do you go connecting
between two 33600 bps modems at your place? Have Telstra confirmed the
access line length or are you just assuming that you don't have any RCM,
RIM or IRIM between yourself and the exchange?
