That is so true, I think it was Joe Kniekro, while with Houston, threw a
no-hitter and lost 2-0, there were like 4 errors in the inning!
Phil Niekro, also had trouble winning against his brother, and not
because of his pitching, but the run support!  I remember one game
against Joe, that Phil pitched 13 innings and lost the game, and he had
thrown a shut out until the 13th inning, Joe left in the eleventy
inning, I don't know who has pitched the longest shutout and lose,  but
I'll bet this one is close.  Now this is truly short of run support, and
this was one of the best hitting teams of the time.  The Braves have
always been a power hitting club, and never really hit much for average!
 They are always close to the top, but very seldom win the best batting
average, but they always hit a lot of homeruns.   This team however is a
lot more consistant than most braves teams!
