I let him choose 4 core subjects to do assignments in Monday through
Friday. He can take as long as he needs with each one, as long as he
understands it. It usually doesn't take very long. He also has other
things that aren't from the textbooks that we apply to school - reading,
computer, piano lessons and a few other things.
I think the sooner I let him do his 4 subjects, the better he is at
sitting and focusing.
