For a modern gcc 128M is good enough.  It might increase speed but doubling
to 256M won't really increase speed noticeably but then the more greedy
apps might disagree with me on that assessment.  Personally I ditch those
apps.  They never seem to give back as much as they take.

Gateways are good but do have some proprietary crap, although less so then
other server boards such as HP which are usually chock full o' proprietary
crap.  However some of it isn't crap but sometimes it is hard to know that
without proper documentation of the proprietary crap.

The one I worked on was nice.  I wouldn't turn it out to the cold.
