TD> saturday... I forgot working a full time Job too...
AF> Yes, I'd say you're pretty busy! :) That's better than sitting
AF> around with time going slowly. My days are going so fast. This
AF> job is keeping me hopping and my day is over before I can wink. I
AF> have a today folder, meaning stuff that should be done and is
AF> opened first thing in the a.m. It seems to be full all the time.
Nothing that needs to get done today seems to ever get finished today..
manan~a is my motto.. I have had to make time to even unwind this past
weekend up at my dad's place because I realized that I have had no "free"
weekend since July.
AF> Quick books too? I switched to that one for our business 'cause
AF> MYOB wasn't doing statements right. People were complaining that
AF> payments didn't show up on their next statement and thought I
AF> wasn't giving them credit. QB seems to be easier in some ways,
AF> more difficult in others. I also use QB for my own account and
AF> print my checks from the computer now. I like that.
Of course it's the (Blech) windows version, I have at home the original
ver 1.0 through 1.4 dos update disks and I found that far easier to use
than the windows version.. the disks were given to me since I was the one
who's name is on the registration when the club switched to the Windows
version..
It took ten or more calls to Intuit to fix the old data base that the dos
version made to be compatible with the windows version, and this was
just for a "SIMPLE" upgrade.. remind me to never do that...
AF> Wicca? That one surprised me. I don't know much about it so I
AF> won't even venture an opinion or thought on this. I guess I'm
AF> pretty conventional in my way of worship. God the Father, God the
AF> Son, God the Holy Ghost. When you think of it, it is a bit strange
AF> to think that way too. :)
No different than the opposite side of the house, Maid, Mother, Crone
aspects of the multitudinous goddess deities.. and then the Male aspect
could be the same as you believe, I leave room for it just in case
you are right and I am wrong.. you see I can only see what I am allowed
to see at this moment in time.. it could change this month or not at all
I allow it it's own will to grow and change as needed to keep me grounded
and sober.
AF> My way of looking at God has gone to
AF> such simplicity since I got out of the bottle. I feel that I have
AF> a friend, someone that loves me unconditionally, and that, after
AF> all, is what many of us are looking for. Many of us had that
AF> problem leading into the bottle or the needle. We had a discussion
AF> about it last Monday nite. Many of us feel that without God as our
AF> HP we would not be where we are now.
Tis true, no matter that what we call our power, whether JHVH or Yaweh
or Ariada or Pan or even as a friend of mine puts it "great spirit"
this just points the way to the top of the tree of life.. and any of us
that know of what I speak that is called "Malkuth" or union with god
(small "g") of the central pillar of the tree. It can only be indicated
it cannot be defined.. so we try with images that everyone of us sees
differently..

TD> (WHEW) In short BUSY...
AF> Homework? How's it all coming along? Last I heard from you things
AF> were going quite well after a failed test. You had come out of
AF> that ok with a good average as I recall. I've been thinking of
AF> taking some courses at either RIT or our community college here.
I got 2 points shy of a B last test I took in Trig and am averaging a C
between the two tests I took.. Congrats on the idea of returning
to college. I have a 53 year old guy that sits in the front row here
in class and he is having an easier time of it that I am...
AF> People are hanging on to the old one with real anger. They can't
AF> understand the new PC system and don't like it. I have 2 bosses
AF> I'm helping to learn too.
Kewl!
TD> (That goes to everyone that lurks here too, no cybersuite tho)
AF> How I'd love to do that. We'll see how the money situation is.
AF> I've got to take some time off to go into the hospital again. I'm
AF> putting it off 'cause the job is pretty heavy call right now. My
AF> boss renewed my contract to the end of the year. We'll see what
AF> happens.
Okay let me know next year early and I'll send the registration forms..
we usually wind up booking the hotel with 3500 or more folks at the
convention and approx 1800 guests at the hotel...
I wound up with a crappy room two years ago but it was not all that bad
considering that I had a room.. and mind you this was a local convention
but I just wanted to do the hotel thing and maybe get lucky if you take my
drift.. but no such luck, was alone the entire time ;-(
AF> Well, I hope you find what you're looking for. Each of us has to
AF> find our own way.
Eyup.....
Hugs Tim...
