Ok, so that's 5.2 KB per second, or, basically, 5KB per second.  1Mb
high-speed is 100KB per second.  That's still 20 times the speed of
dial-up.

Of course, that still may not make it any more desirable - if 5KBps is
sufficient that its cost is appropriate to you, not my call to make ;-)

I'm not intending to persuade you.  Only ensuring that you realise that
what you were saying ("twice the speed") was incorrect.  And if
you were basing your decision on an incorrect statement, then you may be
pleased to know that it is, in fact, 10 times what you thought it was:
twenty times your speed.

If your decision to not pay for high-speed is based on more than the speed
differential, then it's no big deal.  Just don't blame the low speed
difference ;-)
