I don't think Gateways are that fussy but you probably will still find that
the memory should match each other regardless of size.  Don't quote me on
this but it seems to me that the one I played with had an issue with mixing
types, but individually they all worked with it.

You shouldn't need swap with that much ram but some apps might disagree
with me on that issue.  Nothing here seems to mind there being no swap.
