 I think you must have MAJOR proplems in your setup then, As I do not notice a
real difference with a network card or modem. I dont think I 'fluked' 
230+ frags last sunday when I played over the net :)

 Yup, sure is, The dedicated server I play on is only a 586 133Mhz, but is 
being Upgraded to a 686 P166+ 64MEG ram this weekend (or so) :)

 Oh, my 33k6 connection may help also :)

 V.Mach 43k2 protocal will speed QUAKE up even more :) :)
