Back in the day I used to see signs in restaurants "ATTENTION:
Pacemaker Users - Microwave in use!"

We've/medical science/devices have come a long way since then.

When they wand we after I mention the pacemaker they grope my chest area
manually and then wand my arms (held out from the body) butt and legs. I
suppose since I don't have the de-fib on my machine they allow me to go
through the arches ..... or at least didn't say not to do that. I always
have something that causes the thing to set up a racket - usually the metal
adjustment devices on my galluses, or their metal logger button attachment
points, or the silver dollar belt buckle. But I mention the pacemaker and
they avoid my chest with the wand.
