From: "John Beamish"

During the CNE air show about 10 years ago one of the US teams (Blue
Angels? Thunderbirds?) was doing their routine. At one point it seemed
that the entire group was doing a tight formation from right to left.
Everybody watched from right to left as they passed and pulled up taking
the noise with them.

In fact, one plane wasn't in the formation and, about 2 seconds later, came
screaming across from right to left. But since everyone was already
looking left, this plane seemingly arrived out of nowhere. I know
_exactly_ how that newsguy felt!
