I was just repeating what a Corel Help Line tech told me.
I hadn't used WP for Windows until 6.1W in July of this year. Almost
the first thing I did was to bring in a 1.9M 5.1+ file and saw 6.1W
crash, necessating a re-boot. And, yes, it's been fixed in 7.0W; I
opted for 7.0W rather than the patch of 6.1W.
Interesting, in today's message group you acknowledge the bug, and
Phil Heberer has never experienced it. I remember a thing about the
"March 21, 1994" release of 5.1+ being different than other dates.
I wonder if we aren't facing the same thing here. I have problems in
7.0W with rectangular blocking, it's _IF_ I use the
_mouse_ to drag, but if I use the _cursor_ keys.
Others say they have no problems. ???
