Try this. Start pmfax from the command line with
pmfax -V
Let pmfax start up. Open the setting notebook. Select the ports page.
Close the settings noteboot. Shut down pmfax. You should have a file
name VOUT in the Data directory. It should not be too long. Append it as
text to your reply message and I'll see if there's anything I can suggest.
