Mystics certainly have something to tell scientists, but not about
day-to-day science.

This is what I mean. In a species with two sexes, the male is simply the one
that provides the smaller gametes. This often leads to females making a big
investment in offspring whilst males fight amongst themselves for
copulations, but not always. Sometimes the male provides all the parental
care. In almost all species there is intense competion amongst females for
the resources with which to nuture their offspring. Finally, the most
militarised of animals, the soldier ants, are all female.

This is where you go way off science. As a non-particle physicist, I
couldn't comment on whether the fact that there are four fundamental forces
of nature has anything to do with the fact that a plane has two dimensions
and thus four cardinal points. However your four dimensions of animal
behaviour appear to be essentially arbitrary and shoehorned into some vague
relationship with the points of the compass and the four fundamental
physical forces. You will presumably argue that, just as gravity isn't
properly understood, so altruism is the most puzzling of human behaviours.
Why not add the four suits of the Tarot?
