Hi, Matt;

[Megasnips]

Your version seems to have a high degree of correlation with everything
else I have heard about the Roswell "incident," except:

 MS> ... All Mogul
MS> balloons launched are known & accounted for. ALL of them. There are
MS> none close to the time frame that would not have degraded to near dust
MS> in the climatic conditions of New Mexico in summer.

Where did you get this information?
...

MS> And finally to kill this silliness, all Mogul balloons had tags
MS> identifying them as a gov't. project & instructing what the finders of
 MS> such balloons should do.

Oh? _IF_ it was a Mogul balloon, possibly the most secret item in the
military's inventory at the time, wouldn't they have been tracking it
with radar, planes and any other means available?

MS> Let me summarize Roswell for you:
MS> 1) We have an unidentified Radar source that intrudes over
MS> sensitive military installations & is tracked for over 48 hours.

I haven't heard this before, though it sounds plausable...
MS> 2) Sometime on July 4-5, the object appears to vanish from radar
MS> after giving an unusual radar signature.

When it dropped off of screens, wouldn't they have at least sent out a
recon plane to check it out, especially since it had been "prowling"
sensitive military installations for a couple of days?

MS> 3) A group of college students taking an archaeology course from
MS> Texas Tech stumble on an apparent aircraft accident, involving strange
 MS> creatures unfamiliar to them.

College students??? What happened to the rancher that other accounts
say discovered the thing?
...

MS> Does not much sound like a balloon to me.

THAT I will agree with 110%! There is NO DOUBT in my mind that it was
_N-O-T_ any balloon from ANYWHERE! The givverment HAS to know what it
is, and has OBVIOUSLY been covering it up for over 50 years now! If it
were some then-secret project, it would almost certainly have come out
in the open by now, just as most/all the other stuff out of the black
projects of that era have, so I do not believe that it was anything -
military OR civilian - from our technology of 1947. In my mind, that
only leaves one source for whatever-it-was, which leads to the virtually
inescapable conclusion that the Givverment is scared s#|][ess that if
they tell the truth about it, it will cause panic (and rioting) in the
streets, because "the public couldn't handle the fact that 'someone else'
_IS_ visiting us!" Of course they have been feeding us so many OUTRIGHT
LIES over the years that even if they DID come right out and say, "Ok,
it WAS something from another technology, now live with it," many of the
people would consider it as just more of the same pablum they have been
VOMITING for the last half century!

My _OPINIONS_ are my own, and may just be the ravings of a lunatic...
but I don't think so.   ;->

Catch you later... Keep l00king up!
   Ivy
