Jenny does that in the bathtub, on slick catalogs, on
newsprint, and other things I can't see because she gets
into places I can't reach in this junk room.  :<  I have
no idea why she does it either, but it seems to entertain
her and does no harm (that I've noticed and so far).  Is
your sister's cat a kneader?  Jenny will knead intently
for a good five minutes several times a day before she
takes a nap.
