This is a badly documented quirk in eCenter.  You can't right-click in the
area where normal widgets get added - you need to insinuate your way into
the area left of that, where variable width widgets sit (mine are time,
date, cpu usage, lan activity - this is on my desktop machine so I don't
have xwlan on it).
