WD :> to stay on topic We here in Arkansas are having a
WD :>problem with massive
WD :> horseflies infestation. The manure is picked up daily
WD :>and we are using
WD :> "Wipe" twice a day, and run a Bug zapper at night which
WD :>is cooking
WD :> an unreasonable ammount of these B52's but the problem
WD :>persists.
WD :> I am skeptical about a feed through insectiside, has
WD :>anyone had any
WD :> problems with these? What are your thhoughts and
WD :>concerns with feeding
WD :> an insecticide to your "family member of the
WD :>equestrian variety"?
I've never heard of anyone having aproblem. I don't use it though, as I use
a fly parasite @asp that eats the fly larva in the barnyard...I get them from
Farnum. And, insecticides don't do them any good (g)! BT@, I read some@here
once that if you use a bug zapper it's better to put it at a corner of your
property a@ay from the barn...they actually attract bugs in order to kill
them. Might think of moving yours. Other than @hat you're doing, I'm not
sure there is more you can do. Fortunately, at least here, the @orst of the
horseflies run in a pretty short cycle. Our bugs this year have been
minimal...it's been mostly a cool summer...lots of cloudy and rainy
days...unusual @eather for us, that's for sure!
BT@, I like your name too!
