It's possible (but nothing a normal computer user has any chance of
doing) to forge every single line of my post.  It's not within the
person(s) playing impersonation games, though.  They don't have what it
takes.  It took them a little longer than it should have for them to
duplicate my altered User-Agent string.  It wasn't a setting they could
change from within xnews configuration, afaik.  So, they had to find a
hex editor and edit their xnews.exe file to match mines User-Agent
string at the time. 

I'm sure tinkering with the executable made them very uncomfortable,
though and they ####ed up their exe and had to post with a User-Agent
called "Xnews!2.08.37". [g] 

You'll notice if you go back and check posts, it took them a little time
to figure out how to change their executable back to a normal working
exe with the right User-Agent.
