The earlier Plextor PX-708A works fine with RSJ 5.53 on eCS 1.25. The 
stumbling block for you might be that some of your IBM-supplied drivers 
(e.g., OS2DASD.DMD, OS2CDROM.DMD) might be too old to recognize DVD media.
