Happens. Of course, if you'dwound up the Tardis before logging on....

To some extent, then, the abduction pehomenon becomes a statistical study?
That makes sense to me. We have too much data, not all of which is relevant
or useful. Somehow, we need to rattle out the material that is not of any
value. But I'm not sure how to do that.
Consider: we have before us two abduction reports. One of them is from a
woman with a history of emotional problems, the other from a man with a
stable life. Which one is worth detailed study? The woman or the man?
Does a stable life suggest higher credibility in this matter? Does psych0-
logical problems always preclude the transmission of relaible data?

The smaller group, however, is what we want.
My gut feeling is that we need to identify those persons who are using the
abdcution memory as a cover for something else. We may find that it's
all a cover for something else.

Hey, I didn't hear about the lack of a navel. Let's not tell the
creationists!
But no navel tallies with the lack of easily identifiable innards: if the
unborn (or unhatched, or whatever, now that I think of it) is nourished
through a connection not in the center of the abdomen, the insides would
not be arranged as they are. I think. My last exposure to embryo physiology
was long ago and far away (but on Earth).
No easy answers. Not even any easy questions.
