Absolutely.  The DemonRats would go for it, whether they thought they
had a chance or not.  The Republicans, OTOH, not only are gutless
wonders, they're so utterly without principles they actually don't want
to force Dufus out of office, not matter how sufficient the cause - they
think they'll get more votes by demonstrating they can be just as
liberal as the DemonRats.
