subject: [C] I (.p)--; ANSI

From: Bruce Partridge

Is this ANSI 89 or 99 neither or both?

float *p;
float y;

p = &y;
(*p)--;

I am moving code from one compiler to another, and I'm not sure if this is
a compiler limitation, a bug, or maybe and old specification (89).
