TS>Bouyancy and being able to drop that weight from by belt.
TS>I'am a NUT that with a couple of others (also NUTS), we have
TS>a favourite dive site (but alas no boat until recently) walk
TS>1.25Km in full SCUBA to do this dive. Not all OZy's are as
TS>mad as us:-) This reduced weight belt very much helps!
TS>BTW on Open Water classes we sometimes use steel cylinders
TS>for VERY bouyant women so we can reduce their weight belt,
TS>I've been on some classes where their belts have been as
TS>much as 33lb, it takes ALL the fun out of learning when they
TS>have to carry this much weight.
33lbs?????? I will suppose she had on a full 1/4 wetsuit with a hooded
vest and all the other neoprene she could wear. I have been on dive
boats where the entire group of 6-8 did not have 33 lbs on!
