Why darkness? I see the different viewpoint all right, but do not 
know that it is darker except that it is so unexplored.

There may be a difference between the Aryan and the Semite that's 
worth thinking about that relates to this personal/impersonal view 
of existence.  Zeus, for instance, is like a town mayor, limited a 
bit by his constituency in Olympia, and so aloof he does not care 
all that much what all mankind does, much less you personally.  A 
Semite however, sees himself in direct relation to God, a voter, 
if you will- who God cares about.  Of course, the Aryan is then in 
a free state to do as he sees fit, having no heavenly orders to do 
otherwise... as in 'God's will'. 
 
The Semite is an egocentric vision, whereas the Aryan is more of a 
realist, an existentialist, and an adult, responsible to himself. 
Of course, he would not ask for Zeus' help when in a jam, and the 
credit or blame is all his own.

Damn good question.  The Semites seem to have been a small race 
in a place that was constantly overrun, whereas the Aryans were 
a populous race from a large area that did a lot of overrunning. 
I can see where the former learned to accept the will of outside 
forces, whereas the latter learned to cope with the exercise of 
the will, and accept the responsibility for action- 'The buck 
stops here'. 
 
Given the evidence of the Spartan eugenics experiment started by 
Lycurgus, only seven generations will produce profound effects, 
and with the above, we have hundreds.

Havnt read him since the sixties either.  heard a guy on PBS radio 
talking about a book in which he reports on the pretty wide group 
of studies which show statistical significance in some psychic 
phenomena, challenging the a priori skepticism of scientists who 
have not actually looked at all the data.

I think this is Persian, not Greek. The Greek mystery religion was 
pretty much destroyed by Justinian and the Byzantines, whereas the 
Persian remained outside the Byzantine empire long enough to leave 
traces in Afganistan, India, and Turkestan.  Nevertheless, I would 
love to see what he had to say.

Self deification as a Semite God is a long stretch to reach the
