All right I'm warned, but I'll try it out in any way and give you a sign how
it went on. Maybe all the house smell like onions. I'll do this when I'm
alone at home and see what it will do. Keep you up informed.

WIth the possibility of nearly all year round growing veggies, I also
wouldn't be canning a lot. But here it can be froozing very hard and for a
long time and then veggies are very expensive in the shops. So it's better to
cann them when they are plenty in our garden in Summer and Autumn.
Winter-leak can stay outside till spring, as well as the cabbages (green and
curled ones), but celery, carrots, beans, tomato's and all others will be
frozen then and no more good for use.
The advantage of canning is also : when in one year you have a real good
rsult in growing the veggies and you cann them all, you can hold some for the
year after, when maybe the weather is not so good and the quantity of veggies
that you get from the garden is much smaller than normally.
The other advantage is that all veggies are cleaned and cooked and that the
meal is quickly ready when using the canned ones.
Greetings
Maria
