Of course, then there is the idea of shooting a hole in the Event
Horizon of black hole.  I'd say that's pretty darn stupid.
And a pickup truck floating in the vacuum of space for 400 years that
starts on the first crank.  I know many people who stopped watching
Voyager in specirfic response to that episode.
