Your reply was appreciated, Alec, sorry it took me this long to reply.
Your ideas were well thought of and informative. You're right, utilities
are a major concern. 
Though handicapped myself (a BAD motorcycle wreck), I have just spent
the last 5 years caring for my ill parents as I recovered. Mom, passed a
couple of years ago, and Dad, gave up a few months ago. I managed to
keep the acre of land, they owned,, but hadto give up the huge trailer
we shared, for a lot smaller, camper type.
Smaller, but, heck now I can cook and clean and never leave my ol'
rockin' chair, heh, heh. I lost the remote control for TV and didn't
know it for three days GRIN
And my utilities dropped from $150-$250 to $35-$50......
I'm 40, and don't get out much-after 5 years I'm still shy about going
out in public. Luckily, I have lots of friends whom I see often.
You said your 70 ? You see well aware, so to speak. My poor ole Dad was
only 66. He hadn't been much aware for 5 years. He had had a stroke,
just as I had my wreck. He had just retired from the IRS, after a 30
year stint in the USAF. We spent a lot of time together the last few
years, and spent many a great hour just riding out by the Miss river.
I miss him a lot.
Well, I am KNOWN for MY rambleing also, and would lov e to hear from you
about anything. 
I live way out in the boonies of Tipton cty, nice and peaceful.
My family consist of Dude, a 11 year old, HUGE "puppy", myself and a 2
month old kitten named Cujo, that is fast driving my poor ole dog CRAZY.
The kitten having decided that the dogs body is a playground when ever
he lays down or even holds still for a second GRINNN.
