Questions re: the above modem and microphones with soundcards.
 
Is it possible to use just ONE mic in the soundcard for both
speakerphone AND soundcard recording functions?  If so, how?
 
When I use a Y-adaptor for the mic to both the modem and soundcard I get
reduced volume on messages I leave on other's voice mail boxes.
 
If I have separate mics plugged into the modem and the soundcard
everything works fine but I get tremendous feedback from the soundcard
mic and speaker.  I have a SB16 card.  I turn OFF the green dot for
audio settings in the CTMixer app but it ALWAYS comes back ON after
reboots.
 
Anyone have any ideas about this?
