I sat here laughing at your response.  I take it you have never had
the experience of sailing with a dog.   Well,  our first afternoon out
with Spooky was non eventful in all ways,  thankfully.   I am not
sure I would want to put up with a dog on a long term trip myself but
Jim thinks he would.  We will see.......
 
So how has sailing been with you lately?   I am enjoying learning to
sail the "previously owned" Merit 22.  I think in some ways it is easier
to handle than my Laser.  Of course it takes a lot more time to prepare
the boat to sail but then it is much more comfortable than my little
boat.
