F-Prot is available in an OS/2 version as well. I use the DOS version
here, and keep it very up-to-date. If you want, McAfee has an (inferior)
product that you can use under OS/2 if you wish.

Actually, getting infected from 'surfing the net' is VERY VERY rare.
The media and the public make it seem like it's a common thing. It's not.
Remember, you have to RUN something to infect your machine. As long as you
scan before you run things, you'll be fine.
