PN> Well, that ain't no lady, that's my wife...
PN> So my conclusion is that we go shopping for a wheelgun. At the same
PN> time, I've decided that this .380 is gonna go. So it's a shopping
PN> spree. Unfortunately there's a budget issue, too.
PN> A new compact _and_ a new Chief's Special, or whatever, ain't in the
PN> cards. Anybody with any thoughts on bargain compact firepower?
My wife also has trouble with the slide on my pistol (9mm) but dislike the
recoil so much that she won't shoot it, rather shoot my .357 hot loads???
Budget - understand that concept all too well. My wife and I both carry a
Rossi model 68 with a 2" barrel. After a 30 year dry spell my passion for
firearms was rekindled and these were the first purchases that we made. Now
that a couple of years have passed I can put hindsight into use. My wife
still likes her .38 but I would like a .357 snub nose. When the "budget"
allows I will start looking for one. I have a Taurus model 689 with a 4"
barrel but it is too big and heavy to carry concealed. I really like the
Taurus so will probably buy another Taurus .357 with a 2" barrel.
... If you're not confused yet, let me know and I'll start over.
