Hello Deon,

DG> I have multiple netmail areas - almost one for each ftn network I'm
DG> connected with. (I've done this so that when I reply to netmails they
DG> have the right source address.)

DG> I've discovered as a result of this filefix is no longer working.

I had the same problem with filefix when I had more than one netmail area. I
switched to just having one netmail area and that solved my problem.

I always listed my node address first followed by my AKAs so htick always used
the right source address.

DG> IE: messages to areafix@ are being processed as a robot message,
DG> but messages to filefix@ are not being processed by "htick scan".

DG> So I set up a netmailarea robots and a "robotsarea robots" - thinking
DG> that might help - but still messages to filefix do not arrive in that
DG> message area - they still arrive in the netmail area for the FTN.

DG> (Messages to areafix@FTN do get sent to the robots area.)

DG> Any ideas why my filefix messages are not being recognised as a robot
DG> message and going to the robots area?

I suspect (but I'm not sure) that htick is looking for netmail messages to
filefix in your first listed netmail area.

 Ttyl :-),
         Al
