! Don't you believe it. The /reason/ they're so small is because the writers
use all sorts of interesting tricks - make sense if you already know what it
does, but they're not nice to try and learn from. (The more interesting ones, 
at
any rate - the pure replicative ones are usually too simple to learn from.)
