He/she does not even need to have a working knowledge of the subject of the echo. It would help to some degree, but it is not necessary. You are referring to those people still running the software only. There are many of us here no doubt, who ran the software in its heyday. Contrary to your skewed view of this, we are still interested. As I mentioned previously, I, and probably others, would go back to something we know intimately, if it would run on modern hardware, and do modern things.
