You are correct about that. I know a lot of couples and have heard about others
who stay together for financial reasons. The only problem with that is that
neither are happy people. Also, it prevents a person from finding someone they
can be happy with, or even find out they can be happy alone. I'm talking from
experience here since I stayed in my marriage for 20 years, way too long. I'm
pretty contented living alone right now but would like a guy to go out with
occasionally. Most of the men I meet either only want that horrible *thing*
hehehe, or they want to get married right away. For some reason, and I don't
know if it is that way where you are, but dating seems to be a thing of the
past. :-(

Oh, and I'm even willing to pay my own way on a date!!! :-)
