I'm hoping somebody can give me some hints to cure a problem.  I have a 
cellular "look-alike" scanner antenna (glass mount) that I've actually been 
pretty happy with, except that at low freq., around 40-50mhz, I get a lot of 
engine or electrical system interference.
    I've run the coax. through the molding over the top of the driver's door, 
through the dash, and into the center console.  I'm using a Uniden BC220XLT 
hand-held scanner (that I love).
    Any thoughts would be apperciated.
    Also, does anyone know anything about the new KCPD and KCFD radio system, 
and is there any good way to scan this, what appears to be, random channel 
selection.  We have a hand-held purchased from KCPD on their new freqs. at 
work, but I haven't noticed any pattern or control channels when comparing 
the two.  Just curious.
