Hello All!
I have a location that uses a qmodem script to send a daily log file
to a remote host.
The script works perfect, and never fails to deliver, EXCEPT,
when the host is off line due to power failure, ect.
Now... who would need anything more? Just one thing....
The script exits to dos and every thing is lovely, when the host
answers. The problem is ...... getting the script to exit
when the host is off line.
Qmodem will sit there and dial till the cows come home.
I have tried "TIMEOUT 60 LABEL" as per the qmodem script language
reference. However, when the DIAL command is in effect, ( continously
dialing ) the timeout set at the beginning of the script seems to
be disabled, or "not timing".
There must be some simple way to do this, that I am overlooking.
Hopefully I have made the problem as "clear as mud".
Any suggestion at all will be greatly appreciated.
