The BBC (like the CBC and NPR) keep lots of stories and links 'live' long
after their "contemporaniousness" has evaporated. It
gives people an
opportunity to do "long after the fact" research. Other news
sites (like the Globe and Mail, for example) keep the stuff 'live' but you
have to buy a research subscription to access it.
