MICHELIN BEGINS EUROPEAN CAMPAIGN FROM POLE POSITION

Jenson Button created a little bit of history during qualifying for the San
Marino Grand Prix by securing the first pole position of his Formula One
career. It was also a first for the BAR-Honda team, which has emerged as a
genuine grand prix front-runner since switching to Michelin tyres this
year. The 24-year-old Englishman lapped in 1m 19.753s - the quickest time
of the weekend so far.
