It may have been ten years ago now that Mario (my husband) and I 
realized just how fast the world changes.  One morning we drove by an 
apple orchard.  That evening we returned by the same apple orchard; only 
the orchard was gone.  during the day, they had sent in a bull dozer, 
dug up every tree, put the trees in trucks, and carted them away.  There 
was just an open field waiting for a housing development.
