AF> I suspect that you are talking about a book called "Afterlife",
AF> by Tony Attwood, published by Target Books in 1984. ISBN 0 426
 AF> 19924 3.

I still haven't been in touch with Gaslight about my order (they look out
for secondhand books as well) but these details will be very handy - ta.

AF> If I ever see a copy floating around I shall of course buy it and
AF> announce the find on this echo, so that someone here can have it.
AF> (At cost plus postage, of course.) BTW, I can find copies of the
AF> other books for you if you like, the programme guide, the 4
AF> novels which have been written by Trevor Hoyle, and the novel
AF> about Avon's early life written by Paul Darrow (which is
AF> supposedly out of print.) Everyone else is welcome to apply as
AF> well, I send out lots of books in relation to the SF echo, so I
AF> think posting books out is perfectly natural. :+>

Reading this echo has certainly opened my eyes to the fact that there's a
great deal more around than just the videos, which I've recently watched
and greatly enjoyed. (I used to catch the odd episode on a Friday night,
years ago.)

I'm definitely interested in more background, extrapolations, etc. What is
the programme guide?

Thanks for your reply, and I'll look out for messages about books that you
come across.

Val
