That is always something to be concerned about. In this case, oddly enough,
they have the power but they've not been using it (at least not the parts
that everyone seems the most perturbed about). Maybe it's a plan to lull us
into a false sense of freedom until they can get it made permanent then
start locking up lots of people that take left-wing books out of the
library? (and right-wing books in 2009 under the Dem administration).

I'm really not sure, but I get your point, most toll roads were supposed to
drop the tolls after construction costs were recouped, but only CT has ever
done it and that was because of accidents - one very fiery one in
particular.
