Toyota had expected to be putting in a better performance than it has so far
in 2004 but the team is confident that it will get better as the season goes
on. Cristiano da Matta and Olivier Panis have yet to score a point but the
car has been mostly reliable. Toyota president John Howett believes the
performance is progressing and a revised package will be introduced in
Germany in July
