Most lead-free solders I've seen are primarily silver. Some may also use
bismuth (very low melting point; used in automatic fire sprinkler heads) but
don't mark my word on that.
As for the little globules and blobs left behind after a rewiring or
replumbing job, I just pick them suckers up and throw em out. Since most
solders have a high atomic number, that makes them probably too heavy to be
picked up by your dusbuster cordless vacuum. Get a flashlight and tweezers to
clean up. :) I do. :)
