    Look at what happens in the absence of hunting.  
    Animals with no natural predators in neighborhoods people are moving into 
become pests.  This has happened with deer in many states (I almost hit one), 
and alligators in Florida.  Eliminate hunting, and animals who lack natural 
predators overbreed.
