  Your thinking in the past man. :)  There are TONS of people logging into 
BBS's, their called Web forums, and blogs, wikis, and interactive web pages. 
All this new tech is still a BBS just with an updated interface.

  The old style BBS simply can NOT make a come back.   I still run a board 
because I like to read fidonet, and to me as an old style user / sysop I like 
text mode.
