A heated, compartmented baby feeding plate was suggested.
How about a coffee cup warmer, that looks like a teeny little hotplate 
designed to keep a large coffee mug going.  Temper its heat with an oven mitt 
or hotpad laid on top, then your formula container over that. Might be an 
option if you can't find a baby food warmer plate.
For greater precision, wire one of those in-line lamp dimmer switches into 
its cord, so you can easily regulate the temperature of the formula without 
needing to temper things with an oven mitt.
