PL>> You should switch from Com/IP to NetSerial... 25 bux to register under the PL>> SysOp deal. Far superior than Com/IP. Evrything I have tried it out with PL>> works fine, even stuff I couldn't get to work right under Com/IP. You PL>> don' PL>> need to worry about all those crazy S registers used with Com/IP either. PL>> Ez PL>> will probably work with just AT&D2| for the init string. TJM> I'm holding off until they add the IP logging ... hopfully they TJM> take my TJM> suggestion and add it via the extended log infomation (CONNECT TJM> 57600/ARQ/ID_XXX_XXX_XXX_XXX .... yaknow, like the phone number ID TJM> ...) then TJM> I'm gonna pull the switch. I gotcha... I just fired off an e-mail to Mike Ehlert to ask him if there was any intention of having that included in the future... and mentioned that I think it would be good to have. Another voice for it, maybe it'll help :) BTW... logging onto Titantic earlier today (and then just again now to make sure I was right) I noticed you are running FD... have you yet made use of, or even heard of, make000? Basicly a little nodelist converter that will take the IP info of any ITN or IVM node and place it in field 6. Removes the need for having to do any node overides for any and all telnet and IVM nodes in the nodelist... simply enter a netmail, set crash/direct and it will fly out over your virtual modem just as if it were a POTS connection, but of course with much higher transfer rates. It's a beautiful thing. I've never seen my FD work so good since I was a POTS only system.
