The V.34 upgrade kits were provided by MicroCom Australia 02 4133302 (ask
for Tracey).  They were provided FOC because the modems were purchased
after November '94.

The new DeskPorte Fast+ modems were purchased under the "BBS SYSOP
PROGRAM" offered by Microcom, USA.  They cost $US249 each plus $US10
shipping.  They were shipped via Hong Kong and came complete with OZ power
pack etc.  They are Austel approved.  The only extra cost was $190 OZ sales
tax paid on delivery.

So all up the two modems cost me about $1090 Australian - a lot less than
the $899 I've seen them advertised for here.
