In fact, aimed fire directed at targets in a designated training zone in
the middle of the night also isn't celebratory fire up into the air.
Didn't stop the US military then, either. They're a bunch of cowboys who
know they won't get a punishment harsher than a mild slap on the wrist and
a big wink.

Fact of the matter is: it isn't the number of incidents that have
occurred; it's the increasing inability of the US to keep them under wraps.
 Another week, another story.

You may, indeed, applaud the achievements of the US military in Iraq by
selectively pointing to their minor accomplishments. But your failure to
persistently and consistently condemn the behaviour of your troops is a sad
commentary on your analyses.
